One the best fish and chip experience so far. I order skate wing and plaice fish. Beautifully coated and golden crispy . Fried oyster and fried scallops make the dinner more exotic. The curry sauce has special flavour.

I was very impressed with the food from here, highly recommended. The fish and chips were cooked freshly to order, and both were cooked just right. Nice crunchy batter on the fish with fresh, tender cod inside. The chips were nice and thick cut and had a crispy outside with soft potato inside. Even after a 15 minute drive home they hadn’t gone soggy like they tend to from some other places. Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.80 which is more than most charge local places for the same meal, but the quality of food was worth the price and the portion sizes were generous.

We are served immediately with accommodating staff/owner. The fish and chips are freshly cooked and it was so delicious. The servings are massive and satisfying. I would like to buy there again if given the chance to go back.

A perfect local chippy. Always greeted warmly, good cooked to order so is lovely and fresh. Large chips is plenty between 2 adults. Worth noting it is cash only.

Been going here for my whole life and have never been let down. Be aware it's CASH ONLY! No cash machine close by. Post office can give cash but only during post office opening hours. Closest cash machine is at Hogs Back petrol station on A31

Excellent... really good chips.. crisp & tasty.. still fluffy inside. Lots of flavour.. Fish moist & meaty.. batter lovely... (our dog goes totally bonkers for one of their sausages). + really friendly staff.. Plain shop, but always good value..
